Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The cozy rooms, warm and friendly service, and ideal location made my trip truly enjoyable. However, the high charges for simple meals and the overly dark rooms were a bit of a letdown.
Staying at this hotel was an adventure of contrasts. The rooms, inspired by Moroccan tradition, were a beautiful blend of style and dark ambiance. While the tile work and water features were amazing, the darkness added a unique touch. The hotel location was both convenient for exploring the Old City yet faced the challenge of being situated in a poor-looking area with ancient walls resembling ruins. The service, particularly from Abdelkabir and Sadik, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay memorable. The dining experience met expectations, offering plenty of options, especially for vegetarians. However, the spa area left something to be desired, and adjustments were not readily made. Ultimately, the hotel provided a peaceful and quiet retreat, ideal for easy access to the historic district of Fes.
I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and classical, equipped with bottled water and welcome snacks, but lacking a desk. The antique furniture and local decorations added charm to the room. The service was exceptional, as the staff went above and beyond to assist us in every way possible. The location was convenient for exploring the medina, and the beautiful surroundings with a tinkling fountain and a small swimming pool added to the relaxing vibe. Despite a shockingly high charge for some food items, I still found the overall experience enjoyable. The dining options could use some improvement, especially for a 5-star hotel.
